The Major Hotel is a 4-star superior hotel located on the outskirts of the historic Monti district of Rome and directly overlooking the domes of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.

Born in 1962 with the name of Hotel Gallia inside a historic structure, in 2022 it wears its current guise after a complete renovation that transforms it into a modern, elegant and refined building, designed exclusively by the architect Marcello Ceccaroli.

A large meeting room with 50 seats, a wonderful panoramic RoofTop from which it is possible to enjoy the view of the Basilica from a unique perspective, the 32 elegant, spacious and finely furnished rooms, make it a boutique hotel of great value in the Roman scene.

On the terrace, both hotel guests and local patrons can indulge in the iconic dishes and signature cocktails of the Masa – Rooftop Delicacies restaurant and cocktail bar.
