Access to the rooms is guaranteed from 12.30 pm. What happens if I arrive at Relais Monti before that time?
If you arrive at Relais Monti before the scheduled check in time, you can leave your luggage at reception and take a tour of the town or stay in our breakfast room while enjoying a drink of your choice.
Check-out from the rooms is at 11.00 a.m. What if my flight or train does not leave until late afternoon or evening?
In that case Relais Monti is happy to offer its guests a free luggage storage service. You can then leave your luggage at the hotel and come back to collect it when you prefer.
Reception hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. What happens if my flight/train arrives in Rome after this time?
In such a case, we suggest that our guests inform us of their estimated time of arrival at the hotel at the time of booking. It is of course possible to check in after 10pm, subject to prior agreement with us. We would like to remind our guests that for arrivals after 10.30 p.m. there is an extra charge of €20, while for arrivals at the airport after 10 p.m. our guests can use the airport transfer service at a cost of €55.
What do I do if I lose my keys or need help after reception opening hours?
If you need help or lose your keys after 10pm, please call us on 06488295. A member of our staff will be ready to give you the help you need, you can also use the telephone at our desk to contact us.
If I come back to retrieve my luggage before or after reception opening hours, where do I leave the keys?
When you use the luggage storage service, you can take your room keys with you until the moment you return to retrieve them. If we are not present at that time, you can leave the keys at our front desk.
If I arrive after midnight, how do I get the keys to my room?
For arrivals after midnight you need to use our transfer service, which will pick you up on your arrival at the airport and take you directly to Relais Monti. Our driver will give you the keys and take you to our facility. When you book your transfer, as well as receiving an email confirming the transfer itself, you will also receive an email welcoming you to Relais Monti, providing you with the necessary information before meeting our staff in person.
Does the transfer have a fixed cost? Is luggage included in the fare?
The transfer has a fixed cost of 55 euros for arrivals before 10pm. After 10pm the cost is 65 euros, prices are for transport of up to three people plus luggage. Luggage transport is included in the fare.
Is the transfer service only available for the route from the airport to Relais Monti?
No, our transfer service is available to Relais Monti guests to/from Rome Fiumicino and Rome Ciampino airports. The cost of the transfer from Relais Monti to the airport of departure has a fixed cost of €50 for transporting up to three passengers plus luggage.
I need to print out my boarding tickets, where can I go?
Our Reception Staff will be happy to print your boarding tickets, museum and theatre reservations and any other print-outs you may require free of charge.
What is City Tax?
The City Tax is the tourist tax levied on those staying in establishments such as Hotels/B&B/Guesthouses that are located in territories classified as tourist resorts or cities of art. The total amount of the tax goes to the municipality of Rome.
